Job Description

About the Role
Reporting to the Farm Dive Manager, this role focuses on diving operations, farm maintenance, and supporting overall farm logistics to ensure the safety and longevity of equipment and shell stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diving, installation, and maintenance of farm infrastructure
  • Assist with shell handling, cleaning, and harvest operations
  • Support vessel and equipment maintenance
  • Complete dive logs and basic operational records
  • Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture

Desired Skills and Experience

The person we seek must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a level of fitness suitable to pass an AS/NZS 2299 Diver’s Medical (cost covered for the successful candidate)
  • Hold a minimum Rescue Diver qualification (e.g. PADI Rescue Diver)
  • Have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Be comfortable working at sea and living in close quarters
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward workplace safety
  • Have a genuine interest in aquaculture and the marine environment
