Paspaley Pearling Company are currently seeking a Domestic / Gardener to join our Pearl Farm operations in a casual role.
Our pearling operation is extensive and spans coastal regions from Exmouth, WA around to the north of Darwin, NT. Our pearl farms are positioned amongst some of the world's most spectacular coastline and unique marine environments.
We are seeking a FIFO Domestic / Gardener to ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort of cabins, public areas, and workspaces throughout our land-based Pearl Farm. This crucial role includes being responsible for the handling of crew laundry and assisting the Chef to maintain the kitchen if required. In addition, gardening and mowing experience will be highly regarded to assist with the general grounds maintenance of the surrounding green space. To be suitable for this opportunity, you must reside in Darwin, be available for an immediate start and committed to an ongoing 2:1 roster.
The ideal candidate:
· Physically fit, detail-oriented and ability to work autonomously.
· Must be of neat and tidy appearance and display a dedicated and enthusiastic work ethic
What you need to succeed:
· Experience and consistent working history in cleaning, laundry and broader domestic duties (highly desirable)
- Experience in general gardening and mowing
- National police clearance within 6 months or be willing to obtain
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- Full working rights in Australia
